        Research

During Spring 2020, I was involved in a research experience course called Ants and Microbes. Throughout this course, we took part in a study embedded in an Interdisciplinary Research on Invasive Species (IRIS) project, aimed to evaluate the impact of microbes on invasive species and how they could be affected by native species.

I am currently an undergraduate research assistant in the Martyniuk Lab, studying the effects of microbial metabolites in neuronal cell models.

During summer 2021, I participated in a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. During this experience I worked in the Krishnan Cancer Biology lab. I was able to help with some ongoing projects and conduct a mini project on my own:
